SuperTour

Prize money will be awarded based on the combined results of all 5 Tour de Twin Cities races.

The format of the sprint race will be sprint qualifier only, no heats.  A bonus of $250 will be paid to the winners of the sprint for each gender on the night of the sprint races.

Junior Olympic Qualifier (OJ, J1, J2) and Youth (J3, J4, J5, Under 7)

Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers for men and women in each age class.  See note below about JO selections on January 29th.

College

Recognition of the top three teams and top three finishers for men and women.

Citizen (age categories)

The overall Citizen winners of the Tour de Twin Cities will be recognized based on the combined results of all 5 Tour de Twin Cities races, which will culminate with the pursuit start freestyle race on Sunday, January 29.

The top three Citizen men and women finishers in each age group will be recognized based on the combined results of all 5 Tour de Twin Cities races. Age groups will be:
18-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60-69
70+

Awards will take place immediately after the finish of the top three finishers in each competition.

Midwest Junior Olympic Team Announcements

One to two hours after the final JOQ race on January 29, 2012, there will be a ceremony to announce those Midwest skiers eligible to compete at the 2012 Junior Olympics. More information to follow.
